Community Guidelines

Last updated: August 2026

Global Chat is where Global Market School students connect, ask questions, and cheer each other on while they learn. It's built with the same goal as every lesson on this platform — to actually help you, without putting you at risk. Here's how we try to do that, and what we need from you to keep it that way.

1. Watch Out for Scammers

Trading communities attract them, and Global Chat is no exception. The tactics are consistent — learn to spot them:

What Global Market School will actually do
  • We will never message you asking for money, your password, or a one-time code.
  • We do not manage funds, trade on your behalf, or accept deposits through Global Chat.
  • Real staff communication comes through your dashboard, your registered email, or official Global Market School channels — never a random DM from a fellow "student."

If you see any of this: don't engage, don't send anything, and use the Report option on the post right away. Our admins review every report.

2. How Your Account Is Protected

Your dashboard supports Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — turning it on means your password alone isn't enough to get into your account, even if someone else ever gets hold of it. We'd genuinely encourage you to turn it on in Account Settings.

Only accounts we've actually verified as staff carry the Admin badge next to their name in Global Chat. If someone claims to be an admin and doesn't have the badge, they aren't one — treat the claim as false.

You may also see a small blue checkmark next to some students' names. That only confirms they've actually paid for a course here — it is not a staff badge, and it is not an endorsement of anything they post. A Verified student can still be wrong, or in rare cases, still be someone trying to scam you. Treat the gold Admin box as proof of staff; treat the checkmark only as proof of enrollment, nothing more.

3. This Is Not a Signals Group

Nothing posted by a fellow student in Global Chat — opinions, chart screenshots, "calls" — is financial advice from Global Market School, and nobody's prediction here is a guaranteed outcome. Please don't present your own opinions as certainties either. See our full Risk Disclaimer for how this applies to everything we teach.

4. If You Act on Something Someone Told You

Global Chat is peer conversation between students — it isn't a service Global Market School runs or supervises trade-by-trade. If another student, or anyone posing as one, promises you a return, asks you for money, or gives you instructions and you act on it, that exchange is between you and them. Global Market School has no part in it, doesn't endorse it, and can't reverse or recover money sent this way. This is exactly why section 1 matters — please never send money or login details to anyone you meet in Global Chat, no matter how convincing they sound.

5. Community Conduct

A reminder, not a scare tactic Trading carries real risk. Global Chat is peer conversation among students, not professional advice. Before acting on anything you read here — from us or from another student — make your own informed decision, and when in doubt, consult a licensed financial advisor.
